Sewer Line Repair Warranty Program Available
Homeowners responsible for lines from house to utility connection

The city would like to inform residents of a program available to homeowners offered by Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA).

Many citizens are unaware that they are responsible for repairs to the sewer lines that go from outside their home to the utility connection. If these lines break or leak, repairs can be costly. Service Line Warranties of America offers homeowners a warranty for repairs on the outside sewer line.

SLWA is partnering with the National League of Cities (NLC) and was selected by NLC as an Enterprise Program Partner for this program. The NLC represents over 218 million Americans and is the nation’s oldest and largest organization devoted to strengthening and promoting cities as centers of opportunity, leadership and governance. For more information about this program or to enroll, visit SLWA’s Web site at www.utilitylineprotection.com.
