New Hampshire Partnerships

The name of New Hampshire brings to mind quaint towns and stunning forests and shorelines. The residents are as tough as the Granite State itself.  But it shares one thing with every other state… aging infrastructure that can lead to unforeseen damages to service lines for residents. That’s why so many communities throughout the state could benefit from a partnership with the NLC Service Line Program by HomeServe to help their residents in their times of need.

Most homeowners don’t realize they are responsible for the water and sewer lines from the street to their meter, and are shocked to find they must pay to repair damage caused by age, tree roots, and other issues. Planning ahead and having a warranty program in place to cover these costs can make all the difference when an unexpected emergency occurs.

In 2020, New Hampshire residents have 288 water-related HomeServe policies, and have saved more than $106,500 dollars since 2017.

Partnerships can lead to more policies, and millions more in savings for your residents. In fact, we already have partners in your neighboring states:

  • In Massachusetts, residents have over 5,300 policies, and have saved over $1.7 million since 2017;
  • In Connecticut, residents have over 3,700 policies that have saved residents over $1 million since 2017;
  • In New York, residents have over 100,000 policies that have saved them more than $16.1 million dollars in repairs.

The National League of Cities (NLC) Service Line Warranty Program benefits cities and residents. But don’t take our word for it – read what they have to say.

The NLC Service Line Warranty Program was conceived in partnership with the NLC to educate property owners about their service line responsibilities and protect them against a potentially significant out-of-pocket repair expense. The Program also offers numerous benefits to our municipality partners.

Partner Testimonials

“Since 2015, Onondaga County Water Authority has partnered with HomeServe to offer service line repair plans to our residential customers. We selected HomeServe after a thorough selection process and we have been very happy with their service to our customers and their attentiveness to our needs. Prior to partnering, the issue of private service line responsibility had been a source of confusion and frustration for our customers. It has been highly beneficial to clarify this issue and then to offer an affordable solution from a proven provider. Now that we’ve launched, the program has helped some of our customers avoid the cost of unexpected and expensive repairs. I would highly recommend partnering with HomeServe.” – Michael Hooker, Executive Director, Onondaga County Water Authority
